Nerds, fan boys and girls all rejoiced today because Marvel Studios announced their entire Phase 3 lineup today at a press event in LA. It was nothing short of awesome and here is the entire breakdown.

The Captain America sequel will, in fact, be taking on the amazing Civil War story line from the comics and fans couldn’t be more exited, and with good reason.Captain America: Civil War lands May 6, 2016.

Marvel FINALLY announced the long gestating Doctor Strange movie for November 4, 2016 and confirmed that Scott Derrickson is directing. However, they still didn’t say who’s playing him.

Marvel had already announced the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy at SDCC this year, but the release date for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has been bumped up to May 5, 2017. OOGA CHAKA!

The third solo Thor film is up next and is slated for July 28, 2017. Thor: Ragnarok should get fans pretty excited because as Marvel President Kevin Feige explained at the event, Ragnarok means “The end of all things.”

Oh yes! Marvel also finally announced their first black superhero film with Black Panther and they also had actor Chadwick Boseman out at the event to announce that he will be taking on the title role for the film. November 3, 2017 can’t come fast enough!

Not to be outdone by anyone, Marvel also confirmed that their first solo female superhero movie will be coming as well with Captain Marvel on July 6, 2018. Feige noted that it will be the Carol Danvers version of the character. Take that DC!

To confirm yet another widely buzzed about rumor, Marvel also announced Inhumans. This will pretty much take care of the need for mutants in the cinematic universe. Marke your calenders for November 2, 2018.

Last but most certainly not least, the third cinematic Avengers outing will be a two parter and it will finally be taking on the Infinity Gauntlet story line! Avengers: Infinity War will be happening on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019.
